Our History

South Delta United Soccer Club, a proud establishment since 2016, is the result of a merger between three esteemed clubs—Ladner Boys Soccer Club, Ladner Girls Soccer Club, and Tsawwassen Soccer Club. These clubs have collectively served the South Delta area for over 70 years, a testament to our rich history and deep community roots.

We continue to foster an amazing community of parents, coaches, players, referees, team managers, and volunteers. This year, the SDU has 112 teams made up of about 1,300 boys and girls ages 6 to 18, a testament to our commitment to inclusivity and warmth.

Welcome to South Delta United Soccer Club. We were founded in 2016 and have approximately 1,300 South Delta boys and girls who play soccer from 6 to 18. We have seven fields in Ladner and Tsawwassen that are used for training and matches each week, and our primary season runs from September to March.

Each week, our vibrant club hosts an impressive 112 matches and 200 training sessions across 6 soccer fields in Tsawwassen and Ladner. This bustling activity, a testament to our club’s dynamism, is made possible by our dedicated team of 220 volunteer coaches, 112 team managers, and 43 volunteer referees.
